When was the last time something or someone completely altered your life? Have you ever wondered why the passion has died in your pursuits in life? Do you feel like your world is completely in shambles? Do you have everything altogether but still feel dead, empty, lifeless, and purposeless? This Sunday, Jesus challenges us to let Him rip our lives apart from the inside out, because that's exactly what we need to find what we've been missing in our lives the entire time.
Questions to Consider:
1) Matthew (Levi) did not seek Christ out. Christ, rather, sought him out. Can you recall a time when God reached out to you?
2) Why do you think Christians spend time trying to save other Christians? How does Christ's call to "doctor the sick" impact our desire to proclaim Christ's excellence?
3) Recall a time when you wanted to hold onto something Christ was telling you to let go for His sake. What was that process like?
4) Why is it necessary for Christ to give us a heart to follow Him?
5) At what point did Christ become the sweetest thing you've ever tasted? How does that moment change everything?
